EVENT REGISTRATION: Our team understands that there are two (2) NL Winter Event date options: Oct 31-Nov 2 (2025) or Jan 30-Feb 1 (2026). We understand that these events are separate applications and that to be considered for either event our team must fill out each event application. Furthermore, should our team submit an application into both events, we understand that we can ONLY be accepted into ONE (1) event, not both.
NATIONAL LEAGUE DIVISION REQUIREMENT: Our team understands that to retain eligibility to compete in The National League Winter Events for the 2025-26 seasonal year, our team in must also participate within a National League Division during the 2025-26 seasonal year. Our team understands this requirement if we are accepted into The National League Winter Events for the 2025-26 season. Furthermore, we understand that if our team is accepted into a NL Winter Event and subsequently decides not to compete in a NL Division, our team will not be eligible for advancement or will be removed from the applicable NL Winter Event.
ROSTER CONTINUITY: Our team understands that at all times during the 2025-26 NL Winter Event competition, our team must have on our NL Winter Event event roster no less than nine (9) players who also appear on the team’s respective National League division roster for the 2025-26 season. We acknowledge that our team meets or will meet the required nine (9) player continuity rule established to participate in the NL Winter Events.
ADVANCEMENT/QUALIFICATION: Our team understands that our results in a NL Winter Event may qualify our team into either the 2026 USYS National Championships (July) or 2026 National League Cup Playoff (June). Should we qualify, our team understands that we must also compete in a division of The National League during the 2025-26 seasonal year to remain eligible.
SOFTWARE / ROSTER REQUIREMENT: Our Team understands that “Squadi” is the official registration, scheduling, and gameday software for The National League. All eligible players for the NL Winter Event must be listed on our team’s NL Winter Event roster in Squadi. It is our team’s responsibility to manage our event roster in Squadi to ensure accuracy and eligibility for the NL Winter Event. We verify that all players listed on our Squadi event roster who participate in the NL Winter Event are properly registered with either USYS or our State Association. Submission of this registration is our team’s acknowledgement of this requirement.
RULES ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: Our team understands and agrees to abide by the policy, rules, operating procedures and decisions of The National League. The National League, nor the State Association shall be liable for transportation, lodging or injury to person or property sustained in the course of the sanctioned event/game.
LODGING REQUIREMENT: Our team understands and accepts the travel requirements established by the NL Winter Events and On Location (Anthony Travel). Any team located 100+ miles from the host facility must use On Location to book their lodging accommodations (8 room per night minimum) or pay the buyout fee ($1,500). On Location/The National League will send lodging instructions to all accepted teams. Buyouts must be paid according to procedures as determined by On Location. Any team located 100+ miles from the host facility that is not in compliance with the lodging requirement will be removed from the NL Winter Event.
GAME ANALYSIS & HIGHLIGHTS (TAKA): US Youth Soccer and The National League have an official partnership with a professional software company — “Taka” — to provide game analysis and video highlights for all teams in The National League. Player data from a team’s official roster, as submitted in the league registration software, will be securely shared with Taka for Taka’s use in analyzing games played in The National League. Submission of this registration is your team’s acknowledgement of this requirement. All accounts will be created at no cost to the user and will include limited access to highlights and analysis, with optional paid upgrades available.
PHOTO/VIDEO/AUDIO DISCLAIMER: US Youth Soccer (USYS) regularly photographs and records video/audio of its events’ facilities, attendees and participants for promotional purposes. By registering for attending and entering USYS events and facilities all parents and their dependents within your team agree to abide by our policies.
NATIONAL LEAGUE REFUND GUIDELINES: Once a team is accepted into the National League, the refund protocol is as follows: no refunds of entry fees are made to teams withdrawing following such acceptance. Should an event be cancelled, fully or partially, due to factors outside USYS control, we do have “Force Majeure” protections; “No party shall be considered in default in the performance of its obligations under this agreement to the extent that performance of its obligations is prevented or delayed by any cause beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God; acts or omissions of governmental authorities; strikes, lockouts, or other industrial disturbances; acts of public enemy; wars; acts or threatened acts of terrorism; blockades; riots; civil disturbances; epidemics; floods; hurricanes; tornadoes; earthquakes; plague, pandemic, outbreaks of infectious disease or any other public health crisis, including quarantine or other restrictions and any other similar events, acts, or omissions beyond the control of the parties.”
